Scissortail Streams Showcases Jose Hernandez

It’s hard to believe but we are releasing the sixth episode of Scissortail Streams, our online concerts highlighting local musicians along with various areas of Scissortail Park.

This week we are featuring Oklahoma singer/songwriter, Jose Hernandez. These free concerts are recorded onsite, at a safe distance, and showcase different areas of Scissortail Park. Hernandez was recorded on the Event Pavilion near the walkway to Skydance Bridge.

He grew up in Oklahoma City playing and writing music from age 14. That’s when he was given his first acoustic guitar. His heartfelt, intimate songs feature rock and roll vibes with passionate expressions of angst and self-reflection.

We hope you enjoy! And remember, as always, the Park’s pathways and grounds remain open daily for walks and respite. Our park is here for you.

Special thanks again to Mortimer Creative, and Ty Calanni, technical stage manager for the Park, for recording our Scissortail Streams online concerts.
